Senior Uttar Pradesh minister and government spokesperson Siddharth Nath Singh said this in a statement issued on Tuesday. He said that this joke was prevalent in the political field that by March 10, SP President Akhilesh Yadav would find any excuse for defeat. That is why he is raising the issue of EVM security.
Siddharth Nath Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav is realizing the saying of ‘Khisiyani cat khamba noche’. Had Akhilesh Yadav worked during the tenure of his government and won the trust of the people, he would not have had to make such reckless statements two days before the election results.
He said that despite having so many fair and peaceful elections in a big state like Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh is trying to provoke people unnecessarily by making false allegations.
Siddharth Nath said that it does not suit a senior leader like him to make direct comments on the Election Commission. Yes, it can be understood that seeing the defeat of SP in front, they have no option but to cry for EVMs.
He said that Akhilesh now has only time to introspect why the people rejected him. They should understand that during the Corona period, the result of abandoning the public, promoting goons and mafia and giving tickets to criminals in elections is that the people have completely rejected the SP in the assembly elections.
