Uproar in the White House! Now Trump clashes with Ramaphosa
* Accused South African President of genocide
* South Africa rejected this allegation
Reuters, Washington. US President Donald Trump on Wednesday discussed the most controversial issues of dispute between the two countries with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the White House, including Trump’s claim of white genocide.
South Africa rejected the allegation that white people are targeted. The murder rate in the country is very high and most of the victims are black. During the conversation, Trump praised South African golfers and Ramaphosa said that he wanted to talk about important minerals and trade.
During this, Trump played a video, which claimed to show evidence of genocide of whites. During the video, Ramaphosa mostly sat expressionless, sometimes turning his neck to watch the video.
Trump said that the video showed the graves of thousands of white farmers. Ramaphosa said he had not seen one like that before and would like to find out what the place was. Trump then showed printed copies of articles which he said showed murdered white South Africans.
