PM Modi’s plane landed in Philadelphia, USA
New Delhi (News Agency). Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday morning (local time) on the first day of his three-day visit to the US. It is worth noting that PM Modi has arrived in the US to attend the Quad Leaders Summit organized by President Biden. PM Modi will also address an event at the United Nations General Assembly.
Before leaving India, PM Modi said in his statement that he is looking forward to joining his colleagues – President Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for the Quad Summit.
PM Modi said that this forum has emerged as a leading group of like-minded countries working for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region. The Prime Minister said that his meeting with President Biden will give both countries an opportunity to review and identify new avenues to further deepen the India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership.
Grand preparations have been made to welcome PM Modi in the US. During his US visit, he will also participate in a bilateral meeting with President Biden. PM Modi’s plane landed in Philadelphia at 7.30 pm Indian time, from where he will go to Wilmington, Delaware, the hometown of US President Joe Biden. Here there will be bilateral discussions between the two leaders.
