New Delhi. The Election Commission of India has announced the dates of Lok Sabha elections 2024. Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases, while the results will be announced on June 4. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that there are 97 crore registered voters in the country. Of which 49.7 crore are men and 47 crore are women. At the same time, 1.82 crore voters will vote for the first time. However, 21.50 crore youth voters will participate in the elections.
Elections will be held in seven phases in Bengal – Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal will be held in seven phases.
First phase- April 19, on 3 seats
Second phase- April 26, on 3 seats
Third phase- May 7, on 4 seats
Fourth phase- May 13, on 8 seats
Fifth phase- May 20, on 7 seats
Sixth phase- May 25, 8 seats
Seventh phase – June 1, on 9 seats

This time, for the first time in the country, this system will be implemented simultaneously that we will send forms to voters who are above 85 years of age and have more than 40% disability, if they choose this option of voting.
