Varanasi. The route of Baba Vishwanath’s city Kashi PM City Varanasi to New Delhi bullet train has been finalized, which will stop at a total of 13 places and will make 18 rounds in 24 hours.
According to the information received, the work of construction of high speed rail corridor is going on at a brisk pace. Preparations for running Varanasi-Delhi bullet train are on the way to take shape. This entire stretch will be of 816 km with a total of 13 stations. Out of these stations, there will be one underground station in Delhi and 12 elevated stations in Uttar Pradesh. The speed of the bullet train coming from Delhi to Varanasi will be 330 kmph. Not only this, the construction of a station underground in Delhi is going on. Delhi-Varanasi bullet train will leave from Sarai Kale Khan station in Delhi and the first stoppage will be in Noida Sector-142, the next stoppage of the bullet train will be made near Noida International Airport.
In this way, after Noida’s Sector 142 Noida Airport via Sarai Kale Khan, the bullet train will travel to Varanasi via Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Kanpur, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Bhadohi.
The maximum speed of the bullet train has been fixed at 350 kmph and the average speed is fixed at 250 kmph. The bullet train will travel on the track at a speed of 330 kmph. From Varanasi to Delhi by bullet train, where it currently takes 10 -12 hours to travel by train, this journey can be covered in just 4 hours by bullet train.
18 rounds will be done from Delhi to Varanasi in a day – Preparations have also been made for what will be the plan after the Delhi-Varanasi bullet train project. According to the information, the bullet train will make 18 rounds between Delhi and Varanasi in a day. Apart from this, 43 trips will be made between Delhi to Lucknow, 11 between Delhi and Ayodhya, and 63 between Delhi and Agra.
According to sources, the cost of Varanasi Delhi Bullet Train Project will be around Rs 2.3 crore.
