Sources said that doctors and an ambulance were kept on standby by the ED during the interrogation of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Sonia was questioned by the ED for about 2 hours 20 minutes. ED asked Sonia more than two dozen questions after which Sonia asked ED to go home for medicine which ED allowed. According to sources, he will once again be called for questioning on Monday.

In the National Herald case, a water cannon was used on Congress workers protesting against ED’s probe against party interim president Sonia Gandhi. And 75 MPs have been detained.
Clashes broke out between Congress workers and police in Assam.

Several big leaders who opposed the ED’s inquiry have been detained. These include the names of Ashok Gehlot, Shashi Tharoor and Sachin Pilot.
