Former CM Charanjit Singh Channi lying alone in ED’s interrogation

Chandigarh. Former Punjab Chief Minister Charan Singh Channi is now alone in the Congress in the illegal sand mining case. None of the Congress leaders who appeared before the Directorate of Change (ED) did not give their speech in support, all remained silent.
It is noteworthy that last three months when ED arrested Channi’s nephew Bhupinder Singh Honey, the entire Congress came out in support of Channi and now when Channi appeared before ED, none of the party leaders even ‘Chu’ Did.
When Channi went to the ED office in Jalandhar, no party leader was with him. Channi himself gave this information by tweeting that the ED summoned him and called him to the office for questioning. Appeared before ED officials.
It is worth mentioning that in the month of January, when the ED arrested Bhupinder Singh Honey with Rs 10 crore, the national leaders of Congress also came out to give political color to this whole matter. Congress made Channi the chief minister’s face in the assembly elections despite the ED’s action.
Rahul Gandhi himself came and announced Channi’s name. The Congress indicated that the ED’s action was politically motivated. Even the Congress played the SC card in the name of Channi. After the ruckus and flop SC card received in the election, now the Congress has started shunning Channi.
None of the Congress leaders made any statement in support of Channi, nor did anyone come and speak on the Internet media.
