Voting started from 7:00 am today in 54 assembly constituencies of 9 districts in Varanasi, Mirzapur and Azamgarh Partial Division. Voters showed enthusiasm in the first two hours of voting on these 54 seats, with a total voter turnout of 8.58 percent in 54 seats. The voters of Mau district showed enthusiasm in the first two hours and maximum voting has taken place.
According to our Varanasi Bureau till 9:00 am, 8.93 percent in Varanasi, 8.99 percent in Jaunpur, 7.95 percent in Ghazipur, 7.69 percent in Chandauli, 8.84 percent in Mirzapur, 7.43 percent in Bhadohi, 8.35 percent in Sonbhadra, 8.08 percent in Azamgarh. Percentage and 9.99 percent polling in Mau.
It is noteworthy that in the sixth phase of the assembly elections in Ballia district of Azamgarh division, voting was held on March 3.
